excellent. i was going to advocate for that ;)

one project to watch in this space is phpgroupware. they
will re-implement sourceforge for the fsf and already
expose some functionality as xml-rpc. very powerful
stuff, and they can deliver today.

great that you didn't fall into the "not invented here"
trap and build on existing solutions.

going forward, i can see a lot of powerful interconnects
between the web and the im space. xml-rpc will unlock
that value.

for instance i was recently thinking about using the
jabber infrastructure to do presence management for
distributed web sites.

all in all great news.
