[JDEV] Starting Jabber client on a click from the webpage...

Hello,
I’m relatively new to jabber. I’m planning on using a VB client. I’d like to know if there is a way to start the Jabber client from a webpage on a single click. If I use a href, or call it from a javascript function, it will bring up the default security box with the options to “open from current location” or “save to alocation”. I’d like to be able to get around this.
Any suggestions?
