Yes, it's possible, however, I'm not sure of the benefits.  But for me,
is mostly to invite a room to the conference.  Some sorts of nick
negociation is then necessary, maybe simply by adding a suffix like
nickname at foreign_room or maybe more complicate.  Some special
requirements are required for those "special guest" like when asking for
the list of users, or things like that.  It would be cool to have a
special options so that we can only query the local room or query
invited room...  We are near to the concept of MUD rooms now ;).

I'm not sure I understand the last sentence but I don't think that it
anything we discuss until then is a requirements for the conferencing
service.
