[JDEV] Building the yahoo-transport with socks 4

Robin Elliott Stevenson robinste at fc.hp.com
Mon Sep 25 17:31:12 CDT 2000

Woo hoo! I'm sorry if I confused you, I was just bouncing back and forth
between trying to connect to jabber.org and usel.fc.hp.com.

My problem seems to have been that my server does not know who local host
is. I now have the yahoo.usel.fc.hp.com transport running using socks 4,
and I have a connection established for my user: robinste.

How I need to learn how to use it.

Thanks so much, Keith,
Robin
