Ok, I agree, a one-item roster push would be a little strange using
hierarchical grouping.

Because the server would send a lot of redundant information if a JID
occurs twice?


So the conclusion is: If I want to implement nestled groups, I'll have to 
use the group-tag in some smart way? Probably interpreting the data like 
a file system path or using custom tags. That would however not work 
well between different client implementations.
