[JDEV] jabber graphic features?

Hi:

I'm new to the list, and to jabber. I became interested in this project
because I've just recently started my own open source project for developing
software that includes instant messaging capabilities. This software will
include some really cool graphical capabilities that I've never seen before
in other instant messenger products. I'd like to ask if these features have
been considered for jabber, and whether it would be appropriate to do so.
I'm currently writing a spec for my project, and rather than repeat the
information, I'll just include a link here to the appropriate page of the
spec (the one that talks about instant messenger graphical capabilities).

The instant messenger part begins on about the 6th bullet point from the
