[JDEV] restricted access accounts.

I'm putting together a simple online helpdesk (the flash interface is 
3k, which i've been talking about in my other emails to jdev).

I was planning to have a generic account that all helpdesk sessions 
would access my jabber server through, but now that i think about it 
that sounds like that would leave the server open to more general 
access.  What i want is to restrict from the internet, either by account 
or by the port they are accessing through, to only be able to access one 
particular transport.

Can anyone suggest a simple way of achieving this?
