[JDEV] Jabber server installation

I've tried mightily to successfully install jserver, all to no avail.

Would someone be willing to watch this group and help me out as I install it
yet again?  I'm installing it to a heavily-firewalled intranet, so access to
jabber.org   or jabber.com is not an option.

Would it be better to start with 1.2 or the CVS version?
