As I took my first look at Jabber this summer, the above is pretty much
Greek to me... In any case, that's a feature that is very important, and
typically overlooked. Even IRC doesn't support this easily (I know about
private channels, but it's pretty much unusable by non-hackers). Instant
messaging is a very useful tool, but even more if it's possible to hold a
quick conversation with more than one host (and make this point-and-click :-).
