[JDEV] jabber 1.2 crashing consistently

I have installed jabber 1.2 and have a consistent problem with the 
server crashing. It occurs when a client connects then disconnects 
and attempts to reconnect again. I experimented with both Mac and 
Windows client with the same result. I previously had version 1 
working without any problems. I installed 1.2 and built the users 
from scratch. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly 
appreciate it. Thanks
