[JDEV] Cool article in Yahoo/ZDnet

I posted a response to this email at Yahoo. I've been communicating with my
Aunt
for two straight days using JabberIM and she uses AIM. I'm currently using
the Jabber.com
server, but if configured properly *any* Jabber Server should be able to
do this to the best of my knowledge.

The article has this quote:

"Several firms, including Tribal Voice, Microsoft Corp., Odigo Inc. and
Jabber.com Inc., have tried to develop platforms that work with the AOL
Instant Messenger client and AOL's ICQ service, but the company has so far
blocked them all. "

Is that really true of Jabber? Or is Jabber.com different from Jabber.org?

A very good article about the current state of IM, and several quotes by
Jeremie.
