[JDEV] Registering with a transport?

I'm writing a VB Jabber client using JabberCOM, and having a heck of
a time figuring out how to register with a transport.  From what I
can gather, I need to use the SetRegister method of an Agent to pass
a "complete JabberIQ with the fields set appropriately."

But I haven't been able to locate any clues as to what the
appropriate settings would be.  I assume this information exists
somewhere, but I haven't been able to turn up anything from rooting
around all over jabber.org.  Can someone point me in the right
direction?
