Indeed! Why would I want to go off and reinvent the wheel?
The short answer is, I don't. I just want to use your wheel instead, because
your wheel has more features!
Or, at least I think it does from what I've read. I'll write up some more later
and then you can rip me to shreds. How's that?

I would suggest that before you go and create yet another printing protocol
that you instead just create a LPD transport.
