[JDEV] urgent: Proxy Server

If you go back approx. 1 month ago, Temas and I had a long exchange about
proxy servers. The crux is that if you have control of the proxy server
then you can set up a version that does basically tunnelling.  This is the
closest to what was already underway and my understanding is that this is
what Temas is working on.  The other way requires that there be a server
known to each other, probably by MX records, where the server inside the
proxy firewall can collect all incoming and outgoing messages and at
predetermined times use put to the outside server and a get for its cue of
incoming messages.  This is much like what email does.  To the best of my
knowledge, no one is working on this implementation.
