[JDEV] The http transport

Hi there!

I just tried connecting to my jabber server via http.
However the only response I get from the server is a 404 error
("Not Found"): 
I tried accessing index.html and then he asked me for my
password, but I haven't figured out how to recieve or send
messages for example...

Is there some document I haven't found on jabber.org describing
this?
