Gotta give a shout-out to the Jabber Server Team. Helluva job, people!
Other than this last little snag (due to my lack of experience with Linux
open source projects) the server install was very easy. And so far it has
performed very well for me with the test development I've done.

Omar,
You should just have to run .autogen.sh && make and then run make install
as root if you are installing into the /usr/local directory.. there is no
need to run autoconf..
