Your insights are definitely appreciated.
BTW, if you think XHTML messages increase bandwidth usage, just wait
till you see the packet sizes once Jabber clients start sending message
and presence info using end-to-end PGP/GPG. Peter Millard has PGP
support going in a development version of WinJab, and here's a rough
estimate of the message size for saying "hi" ...
