[JDEV] HELP !!! ARG....

Installing the server first time, used ver 1.2

I run jabberd, try to connect to sever using winjab, with " NEW ACCOUNT " selected.

I get 
 
20001128T17:57:34: [warn] (jabber.lsi.com): xdb_file failed to open file /var/sp
ool/jabber/jabber.lsi.com/thrawn.xml: No such file or directory
jabberd: error in loading shared libraries
/usr/local/jabber/xdb_file/xdb_file.so: undefined symbol: stat


and the server dies.

DOES ANY ONE KNOW WHAT"S GOING ON ? DOES JABBER LOAD IS LIBS AT COMPILE TIME OR ON THE FLY ?
