[JDEV] help in setting up icq/irc transports for jabber server

hey crew

i'm working on an open source project at cable and wireless to introduce ldap
(plus other features) into the jabber server...

anyway, i have problems setting up the irc and icq clients for the server. i
dont know if my config files are right, or if it is an application (icq/irc)
thing or a server thing. i tried irc and icq on jabber.org and they worked. so
i gather the problem is at my end.

if someone has had experience in settig these transports up successfully,
could you please email me.

transports such as AIM, MSN and yahoo seem to be working ok. but i'm not
really interested in these.
