[JDEV] Segmentation Fault problem

	We've been having similar problems with jserver.  We're about to
load jserver into purify to see what's up.  The last time we tried, we
found a NULL pointer being read by a system call.  (A NULL path being sent
to OPEN and then checked afterward.)  We suspect there may be other easily
overlooked portions of code like this.
