[JDEV] problem?

hi all ,
            We are developing an Instant Messaging client using Jabber
Server (ver0.8). The Jabber server works fine but suddenly it gives no
response to the requests by the client . It does not give any error
messages as well  .Again when the server is restarted , the Jabber works
fine . What could be the problem ? Is it the case  that we may not have
installed the Jabber server properly or something else ? Does anyone
have any clue ?
