I was wondering if anyone on this list could tell me how MSN Messenger notifies its users when new email arrives. I have never used MSN Messenger to send nor receive messages, but I do keep it running to notify me of my new hotmail. I imagine that the program monitors a certain port, but I don't know how to figure out which one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
