  Possibly.  It's hard to say.  That's a good question, though.  Unfortionatly, 
as much as AOL says it will support the IETF standards, I doubt that they 
will.  As someone pointed out at the Pulver.com summit, they really have no 
financial incentive to do it.  They are simply pandering to people when they 
say 'SureSure..  We'll support the IETF standard.  When it comes out in 18 
months'.  That gives them 18 months to figure out why NOT to support it.  Bear 
in mind, this is my PERSONAL opinion here.  The way AOL goes is the way over 
half of the users of an IM system go.
