[JDEV] Why XML for everything?

Oh come on... the best thing for a development group is to rethink their
approach and make sure they know why they are doing what they are doing...
Actually, I never expected to convince anyone here not to use XML... I
just wanted to know WHY are using it!
Anyway, I see why for the most part. Maybe you guys can take most of
these arguments for XML and add them to the FAQ so others like me can get
the idea without having to tie up your mailing list...
For those of you that did take the time to express your view, I appreciate
it.
