[JDEV] Windows clients... MFC or GTK?

The build of GIMP for win32 I downloaded on Friday
doesn't seem to be the least bit unstable - are you
talking about an old version or something?  I beat on
it for a few hours without *any* glitches at all, and
also got a friend involved, just to get another pair
of fingers on it.  I don't see that this build of the
GIMP is any less stable than, for example, Netscape
4.6 or even windows explorer for that matter.  The
fact is, all open source projects start of unstable,
then they tend to get stable in a hurry.  I think
that's very possibly what happened here.
