[JDEV] nicknames

Well, it will still be optional to the user, but I think it's a little
simpler in that we can make the rosters and lists have usernames when you
add people, but will display nicknames(not usernames) - because for all
users who do not specify a nickname, their nick would be their username.
Plus, if you think about it, how many users actually want a seperate
nickname than their username? I can see how the nick would be useful if, say
for instance, they has Josh1299 and they just wanted to be called "Josh" for
that session - but what happens when the real Josh signes on? And if there
wasn't a real "Josh," than wouldn't they have just registered "Josh" as
their username as opposed to Josh1299?
Most people would rather have one name to remember and work off of - as
evidence by AIM and Yahoo! Messanger's popularity.
