[JDEV] CVS modules unknown

Just tried each of these using the anoncvs login and password.  It logs in
just fine, but I get this message on checkout:

> cvs -z3 checkout docs.jabber.org
cvs server: Updating docs.jabber.org
cvs server: cannot open directory /home/cvs/docs.jabber.org: Permission
denied
cvs server: skipping directory docs.jabber.org

Anyone?
