With respects to using IRC to solve problems... I would agree that there
are side issues etc that can be settled better in a closer interactive
groups like an IRC channel... That is part of the appeal of IM's over
email in the first place.
That said... the issues of bring a whole team into irc at the same time,
especially on a volunteer project, is daunting.
So, a reminder that if partial teams are able to meet in #jabber and iron
stuff out amoungst themselves. Please take that result of such
conversations back to the appropriate mail list. To have an
effective Documentation team, it's critical to have this history.
