[JDEV] Status offline on </jabber>

I've noticed a disturbing behavior in 0.6 that causes a problem with
writing a useful one shot client like Thomas is talking about in the
'Jabberfied' applications message.

I use two accounts for testing. Since part of what I want to test the
status transactions I connect to a server using the compiled jabber
client and then my Perl/Tk client can see that userA is online. But if
I then run my one shot client it immediately shows that userA is
off-line even though he is still connected in the jabber client.

The problem is that the jabber server immediately sends a <status
type='offline'></status> when it gets the </jabber> tag. This is going
to cause the one shot programs to become annoying. Is this problem
fixed with the new presence idea? Or will it still send that <status>
message when it gets a </jabber> tag?
