[JDEV] Newbie: Who should be using the jabber software ?

 I found out what this was. If I logged in without something in the
"Resource" box, it would give this error, pretend to login, and not work.

 What do the various fields in the client mean ? (To: Res: Thread: Subject:
Priority: Resource: etc).
