[JDEV] Update (we're still here and 0.7 is nearly ready!)

I apologize for the added delay in delivering 0.7.  It's been a busy week
of adding the last few critical features and re-engineering some of the
core to enhance performance and error handling.

The current CVS will be rolled into a Release Candidate (RC) later today
after the documentation (README's, man pages, protocol guide, etc) has
caught up.  We'll be testing the RC heavily this weekend, fixing anything
else that shows up, and release it Monday. (for real this time :)

Look for some news soon about the 0.7RC availability!
