Java client

A Java client would be great, and I'll try to post some basic client
guidelines up on the site to get all those intersted started on something
besides the raw protocol.

If you get Java working with the protocol fairly well, it might be of some
use to provide the code for use on the server side also, so local Java
apps can act as a transport if anyone wants to write a transport in Java.

Thanks!

Jer
