Mark,

I'm very interested.

However, how are you using the Jabber Win32 Client?

I've been waiting for this for a long time and I don't see anything on the Win32 Page.

Please forward me info. on how I can use your tool-kit.

Thanks,
Robert Thompson

Subject: [JDEV] New Win32 Client - Animated & Interactive

  Hello all,

I've been following Jabber for a few weeks, and just quit my "real" job to work on my startup company's new animated Jabber client (Win32). This client will be completed by year's end. Here's some info on it that I just sent to info at jabber.org :

Currenly named "Jabber Toons", our client allows IM
users to create an animated representation of
themselves by choosing different cartoon body parts
and colors. The character can then walk around and
interact with other characters in an IM session.
Current animations include walking, shaking hands,
high-5's, hugging, kissing and waving. This animation
is combined with a standard IM text box for
  conversation.

"Jabber Toons" will eventually be integrated into our
companion product, IRC Toons (TM), which is scheduled
for release next week. IRC Toons brings IRC channels
to life with fully animated characters.

Lake Clear Interactive will contribute its socket
communication and XML parsing code to the Jabber
project (written in Delphi). If any client authors
would like to add our animation technology to their
  clients, please contact us ASAP.
  ....

My startup partners and I look forward to working with you all and contributing to Jabber's success.

  Mark
