It is ridiculous to say that your getting a bad feeling about jabber due to the
lack of a win32 dll.  The win32 dll is not a necessary component to a win32
client.  This is proven both by Keith and his friend (who's name I've forgotten
sorry).  They both have working clients for the 0.7 protocol, and once they 
have the clients done they might migrate some of their code into a dll.  If you
would look at the rest of jabber it is moving EXTREMELY quickly.  We expect to 
push a 0.8 out the door tonight, and don't think is a rushed release, it is
actually very significant, because it should mark the end or protocol changes.

Along with this release, a lot is planned for 0.9 which will come in short order
, along with more transports and modules and services.  Please don't judge
something too harshly that has yet to even reach 1.0.
