	I wrote my response quickly and it shows. It was my reaction as well, and
I'm as yet unpersuaded. But that's a separate topic. Thanks for setting the
record straight.

PS: re below. The IMPP group's charter specifically steers it away from a
general notification system (ie. a toaster letting a microwave know it is
online). However, I can see the connection when applied to people (and
phones) and I do wish the Pulver people luck. It would be nice to
realistically turn off my long distance service...
