  Hrm..  Perhaps have a 'lifespan' on filters?
This way a filter could be designated as 'cursession'
or 'permenant'?

  Implementation MIGHT (just as a suggestion) look

  Perhaps a modification, in addition to a lifespan,
a 'scope'?  This way a filter could be active while
logged in via dialup, but not if logged in via
an OC3 line..
