[JDEV] email-isms and feature creep (re: unique ids, filtering thread, etc)

This has got to be one of the best ideas that I have heard yet.  Perhaps a
team 
devoted to keeping track of and organizing ideas.  Then things can be
discussed
in a more timely fashion as to what features, extras we would want to try
to get into
the next release, etc.  In fact I would be willing to under take this
monumental task.
(and probably headache)
