How about auto-recompiling? Choose which version you want, and it
auto-recompiles itself with that version only, so the others won't
take up resources (except disk space). That can't be too hard, right?

I'd also like to take this opportunity to reiterate my very strong
opinion that you let ppl create as many toolbars as they want,
arrange them however they want, and make every possible piece of your
client a re-arrangeable "widget." Like the DCC send (or was it
receive?) windows in ViRC (or maybe it was Pirch?)... They're made up
ENTIRELY of drag-n-drop-n-dockable "toolbars" so you can arrange them
any way you like.
